As every cartographer realises, there is the world of difference between a high quality GIS data set and a file ready for the production of paper maps.

The difference is something called "design"!

We have set up a flowline to convert our GIS data sets into a format suitable for the production of printed maps using a combination of MAPublisher and Macromedia Freehand.

Because of the extensive archive of terrain data we have created during recent years, we can also do automatic hill shading which gives maps produced from our data a special look & feel - and it removes the need for extensive, highly-skilled, handwork.
