Increasingly, our geographic data sets are being used for AVL (Automatic Vehicle Location) and for vehicle tracking in those areas of the world which are not covered by commodity GIS data sets as exist, for example, in North America and Western Europe.

It is particularly important to be able to monitor the movement of high value &/or high security loads across national borders and across the sea  in certain instances.  Particular examples are the "drug corridor" from Istanbul up through Bulgaria, across Romania and Hungary, to Western Europe;  also the sea routes through Constanta on the Black Sea, and Dubai and nearby ports on the Gulf.

We now have extensive coverage of seamless datasets which allow operators (insurance companies, security companies and similar agencies) to ring certain areas with a "geo fence" and zoom in to locate a vehicle which has deviated from this route - and, indeed, from the anticipated schedule of progress.

These data sets can be purchased for local use or can be accessed via a Web Server.
