For many people, Romania is still a mysterious country. It is a Latin
island in a Slavic sea, with many examples of its Roman invaders still much in
evidence.
Also, in recent times it has been virtually closed to visitors from the West
but, as will be evident from this web site, it does not mean that we have been
isolated from modern technology and the thinking that goes with it.
We are proud of what we have achieved from our base in Transylvania and hope
that the information provided in these pages will stir you to visit Romania -
and perhaps to come to Sibiu. And, if you do, please don't hesitate to
come and visit us.
