Geo Strategies Ltd (Cambridge, UK), supplier of seamless mapping for Central and Eastern Europe, and Webraska (Paris, France) the worldwide provider of LBS and enabling platforms are to collaborate to develop the LBS sector in Central and Eastern Europe.  The two companies led a joint workshop at the 3G Readiness Conference in Bucharest, in November, held under the auspices of the Romanian Ministry of Information Technology and Communications.  The workshop explored the key strategic, technology, and implementation issues facing wireless carriers seeking to launch LBS.  Webraska will be commercialising its SmartZone Geospatial Platform and LBS Applications in Central & Eastern Europe, integrating datasets provided by Geo Strategies Ltd.  The results were demonstrated at the conference.
