We have produced a variety of wire frame models for visualisation and impact planning.   These are all derived maps in the sense that they are produced from the underlying terrain model (DTM), and are individually tailored to suit the application.

The example shown above combines the wire-frame onto which has been draped limited thematic detail - land use, rivers and urban areas in this instance.  By zooming in, and also by changing the "illumination" and viewing angle, much can be deduced about the terrain prior to carrying out detailed profile and inter-visibility calculations.

We don't hold wire-frame models as stock items as they are readily produced from the terrain data.  However, an interesting example may be found under Sample Data.
