Road maps are the main geographic "infrastructure" products; they are database driven and have full link-node topology.

There are two main products for Moldova with National coverage:

	MD-Road-3	Road network linking all towns and cities
	MD-Road-5	Road network with full interconnectivity (all settlements)

Notes

Considerable effort has been put into enhancing the accuracy of the
road system using both ground survey and satellite imagery. As a
result, the road network is accurate to approximately 30 metres.

The road datasets are organised and structured according to
ISO TC-204-N-34 which ensures that they can be used with all
advanced technology platforms.

Road maps can be used individually or in combination with any of the other products for Moldova, originating from the same unique central database which has been created, and is maintained by Geo Strategies.

In particular, the POI products include geo-coded centre points for all settlements. These are fully linked to the national road network for use with third party routing applications.

The road maps for Moldova are fully compatible with those for adjacent countries and so can be combined to produce a seamless road map for the region. There is an illustrative topographic map for Moldova on our PDA web site which includes both the National and European roads.

The products are available in both vector and raster formats and satisfy most road-based application needs: these include routing, tracking and fleet management.
