In conjunction with boundary polygons, this data can be used as the basis for a wide variety of thematic analysis.

The data for each country is in a standard format and is fully compatible with the data for adjacent countries. So, where thematic data is available in a compatible form, it can be combined to produce a seamless dataset for the region.
