Geo Strategies has produced contour lines, terrain models and hypsography for the EU Enlargement Countries of Central & Eastern Europe (CEE), and also for the Middle East. This data is fully registered with the base mapping for individual countries and can be used for e.g. telecom planning (location of transmission towers), intervisibility calculations or, in the form of hypsography, to provide a contextual background to other forms of mapping.

We can produce slope and aspect mapping on demand and also calculate catchment areas for hydrological analysis.

The terrain data for each country is in a standard format and is fully compatible with the data for adjacent countries. The terrain data can, therefore, be combined to produce a seamless terrain model (DTM) for the region.
