Eurimage

About Us  Our Partners
Eurimage, was formed, in 1989, by four leading companies in the Earth observation industry: British Aerospace (UK), Dornier (Germany), SSC-Satellitbild (Sweden) and Nuova Telespazio (Italy).

The company - based in Rome, Italy - is dedicated to providing a wide range of users with world-wide digital and photographic imagery, through a network of some 40 expert distributors in 28 countries in Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. Eurimage products include optical, thermal, radar, and infra-red data, with a variety of characteristics, resoffitions, and overpass frequencies, meeting a wide range of needs.

Within Europe, North Africa and the Middle East, Eurimage is the European Space Agency's (ESA) exclusive distributor of data from missions including LANDSAT, ERS, NOAA / AVI-IRS and JERS-1.  Eurimage also has an exclusive agreement with EOSAT for the distribution of world-wide LANDSAT coverage and other EOSAT data sets. Further, Eurimage has signed agreements with SSC Satellitbild to obtain data from the Russian satellite RESURS-01, and with CORE Software Technology to be the European node of the global ImageNet service.

The Company has a long tradition of service in the field of product support, with staff dedicated to assisting users in the identification of the most suitable data for users' specific needs.  These activities are carried out by a team with an extensive understanding of Earth Observation data applications and a constantly updated knowledge of current mission features.  Eurimage designs and sets up training courses to promote the use of satellite data; every year several training courses are organised in collaboration with the European Space Agency and are attended by many participants, from both value-added companies and users.

We are pleased to be an authorised Eurimage partner: you will find details of images from a variety of satellites elsewhere on this site.
