Cambridge - the jewel of East Anglia - is one of England's most popular tourist cities.  With its colleges, its courts, its cloisters and its academic heritage, it is a perfect tourist trap.  But this is not why it is important to us.

There are no less than six GIS and mapping companies located in Cambridge:

	Digital Wisdom	For raster images of the world.
	Laser-Scan	A spin off from the Cavendish Laboratory.
	Smallworld	A spin off from Computervision (formerly CIS).
	Sysdeco	Formerly Alper Systems
	MapMaker	Low cost GIS software.

In addition, Longmans Geo Information (publishers of GIS Europe and Mapping Awareness) are located on the Cambridge Science Park.

But even this is not why it is important to Geo Strategies:
